Private Group Safari Holidays

Private and group joining safaris can be one of the most sociable holidays you will ever take! So why not head out to Africa with your friends and family, making up a small group or joining a group led by a renowned guide?

Private and Group Joining Safaris
There are a number of different group holiday safaris we operate across Africa:

1). Small private group safari

These are tailor-made safaris for small private groups, so they’re ideal for friends and family members wishing to go on safari together. Group sizes are usually between three and eight.

Our small group holidays can be some of the most affordable trips we operate. If groups are small enough to fit into one safari vehicle, there are parts of Africa where this category of travel becomes incredibly economical as the cost of your vehicle and guide is split between the number of people in your group.

2). Pre-arranged top-guide safari

This type of safari involves joining a pre-arranged safari led by a renowned guide, and it’s shared with other travelers. The experience is offered to single travelers, couples, and any number of persons making up a group.

A number of Africa’s finest guides and top companies offer set-date departures that are open to the public. These are one of the best kinds of safari for single travellers; and they’re also great for small groups who’d like to join a more sociable style of safari, as you’re with the entire group for the whole holiday. These safaris are common across Africa and are often a superb way of getting to know Africa with the best guides at much more affordable prices than hiring the guide exclusively.

3). Privately guided, private group safaris

These private safaris are usually led by the same private guide throughout, with a group size from three upwards.

For groups wishing to hire a private guide, either because they prefer a guide to take care of their every move while in Africa, or because they want to split the cost of a top guide among all the travelers, this type of group holiday is highly recommended. Some of Africa’s private guides cost a couple of thousand dollars per day, so splitting this cost is a much more affordable way of travelling.

4). Private lodge safari

The final group option is taking exclusive use of an entire lodge for the duration of your stay.

Many travelers are not aware of the small size of the camps we use. Some have just three rooms, so it’s possible to take over an entire property. This is ideal for families or large groups as it ensures the ultimate levels of privacy and exclusivity. We reckon that, with an array of first-rate facilities and an army of chefs, private guides, and housekeepers at your disposal, you’ll soon find there is no better way to travel en masse.
